day 2 of my advent basket and the lovely creator of my basket
It was such a pretty day outside we attempted to take a walk…. but two two year olds decided to throw huge fits instead.. teach me to try and do anything anywhere close to naptime.. at least Betsy was my witness..while they look all fun and games.. twins can be 2 really big handfuls ;-) still oh so cute
1 picture a day for the days leading up to Christmas.. it’s fun. I did it last year..see
here’s my shot for today
I was also extra excited because my dear friend Betsy made me my very first ever advent basket! I love today’s gift and I am so touched by her thoughtful gesture.
and now some shots from Sundays tree hunting
Their smiles and their kisses. Their hugs and snuggles. Their curiosity, their laughs, the way they dance, play and especially the way they love. So much to be thankful for
I made this little bunny for one of Iris’s friends birthday along with a Jane’s Market Bag (ill have to post a pic of that one later) Her favorite color is pink and she loves bunnies so I hope it will be a hit. I was inspired by this book “sew darn cute” I love so many ideas in the book I cant wait to make more. Now all 4 of my girls are requesting one for Christmas so I might be busy!
This is my pillow for the “Pillow Talk Swap”
I really love how it turned out.. you know me and owls.. I will need to make one to live here.. maybe with a santa hat for Christmas or something ;-)
My daughters have given me a huge list of things they want me to sew for them this year for gifts.. I love that the first things they say when I asked what they wanted for Christmas this year were not from a store! Such sweet peas.
